Welcome to our first newish look and feel issue. We haven't changed a lot, just tightened up the nuts and bolts. The survey we included in the mag an issue or two ago gave us plenty of food for thought and one of the things that really jumped out was your desire to read more travel-oriented features. So that's exactly what we've done.

And from now on we'll be combining tow tests with caravan reviews and road trips. And we're not just doing the easy drives, nup, we're tackling the big one: huge adventures like the Canning Stock Route for instance. Our aim is to make you want to get up off the lounge, pack the RV and hit the road.

Some of our other road trips this issue are similarly impressive if a little more laid back. Glenn Torrens grabs the keys to a new Toyota Prado and a Northstar Mudgee and heads off to the Snowy Mountains; and Gil Schott takes a new Mitsubishi Triton and a Freespirit Aussie Adventurer rough-roader to Tin Can Bay in Queensland.
