Supreme Caravans
Supreme Caravans is a well established and highly regarded manufacturer of quality caravans, with an emphasis on all-road and off-road capability. Although not particularly cutting edge Supreme know-how to make the most of traditional caravan manufacturing techniques and, from my experience, their 'vans are tough and strong.

Three of Supreme's four model ranges feature bunk van layouts, these being the Spirit, Territory and Getaway. Standard equipment is okay but varies across the model ranges. Look for standard battery packs in the more adventurous models and things like comfy innerspring mattresses in most models (although not on single beds).

Pop-Top & Caravan Getaway

Supreme interiorGetaways have a well deserved reputation for being go-anywhere 'vans. I've towed them through forests and even up a river (!) and they've come through with flying colours. The smaller models resemble a caravan dropped into an armour plated box trailer - which I think is how they basically started out - and with independent suspension and plenty of ground clearance they're pretty well bullet proof! Two bunk floorplans are listed on Supreme's website and are well worth a look.

Caravan Territory

The Territory is an excellent all-road caravan ideally suited to 'the big trip' around Australia. Able to handle mild corrugations and lots of gravel, the Supreme Territory is a nice compromise for those of you who want to explore but don't want to, say, drive up a river, for instance. I found three Territory floorplans with bunks and although not cheap, they're worth putting on your shopping list.

Pop-Top & Caravan Spirit

For those of you who want/like/need to stick to bitumen, the Supreme Spirit range is ideal. Available in pop-top & caravan the Spirit is the 'normal' caravan of the Supreme family, but shouldn't be overlooked. Three floorplans are listed that are family friendly and well suited to regular holiday touring.
