There are three models ranges in the Olympic stable but only the top two - the Javelin and Champion - feature bunk layouts. Olympic make your classic looking Aussie caravan, using conventional aluminium cladding over a Meranti timber frame and riding on a Supagal chassis.
Pop-Top & Caravan
Javelin
Javelins come in two specification levels - Standard & SP - and it appears most standard Javelins are pop-tops while most SPs are caravans. Got that? It also appears one of each is available with bi-fold bunks and a double bed, thus garnering our interest.
Standard Javelins are reasonably equipped, with a three-way fridge; four-burner cooker; stainless steel microwave; innerspring mattress; mains pressure tap and more. SPs up the ante considerably, adding air-conditioning; a larger fridge; stainless steel rangehood; CD/Radio sound system and so on. Both bunk Javelins feature the same basic floorplan; with bi-fold bunks at the front and a rear double bed.
Caravan
Champion
Three Olympic Champion caravans feature bunks or extra single beds in their floorplans. One has a drop-down double bed up front and two rear bunks, while the other two have either two single beds (in addition to the main double) or 2 bunks and a bathroom.
Standard equipment seems about on-par with the standard-level Javelin, which should help keep the basic price down. Of course you can always option it up if the bank manager will allow ...
