There's an external burner (a barbie is optional) for those warm summer's evenings, and there's even an external sink located next to a single gas burner for convenience. A stainless steel table within cooee makes preparing dinner al fresco a cinch.
Inside, there's a 130L fridge and a ceramic cook-top which, along with the hot water system, is powered by diesel. This means there are no LPG appliances inside the Karavan and that means there are no vents and so no dust can get inside the 'van while on the road.
There's a long couch and a smaller one opposite, both are comfortable and a sliding dinette table, which is stored under the queen-sized bed when not needed, makes for a practical dining space. A flat-screen TV is located on the wall at the other end of the Karavan.
The kitchen itself is fairly simple, but then a clever cook doesn't need much with which to whip up culinary masterpieces. There's enough bench space and plenty of storage for pots and pans, etc.
At the drawbar end of the Karavan is a vacuum toilet with fresh water flush, this means no chemicals and makes this unit septic tank friendly. Now, the toilet isn't like the one you might find in some of the other 'vans we've looked at. There's a half-height wall with a canvas wall that gets attached once you've set up. It'd be fine if it's just the two of you, but it might be a little, um, uncomfortable if you've got guests around.
