Tow Vehicle
Any vehicle with a decent tow rating, (around, say, the 2000kg or greater mark), will handle the Bush Boss.
On The Outside
From the Duragal chassis up, this camper has been built to go the distance. It features 10-inch electric brakes and an independent leaf-spring suspension system including shockers for stable on- and off-road use. Other gear underneath includes an 85-litre water tank, mudflaps, and twin gas fittings; one for the stove and one for a gas fridge.
Cool extras include a Tregg off-road coupling, a Manutec jockey wheel, a large, removable stone guard and a large storage box complete with a 100a/h battery and an Anderson plug to charge it from the tow vehicle, as well as a 240-volt charger.
The body is 2mm powder-coated zincanneal for durability. The Bush Boss utilises 10oz Aussie-made canvas with gas struts fitted to the hoops to make setting up the camper very easy. A travel awning is included and everything packs up under a RipStop vinyl cover which allows plenty of room for bedding to be left set up.
Day Into Night
Once the camper section is folded out towards the back of the camper it's ready for use. A ladder provides easy access to the bed, there are zippered windows for ventilation and screens provide plenty of protection from night-time nasties. There's enough room inside the canvas section to sleep a couple of kids and still have enough room to sit inside if the weather is inclement.
Access to the slide-out kitchen is easy and the awning is folded with the tent section making it easy to set up protection over the kitchen. With the drop-down front, there's also a good amount of storage space.
